Is there something wrong with the photo site.

I have tried resizing, cropping, and compressing my some pics, saving the pics under different names and resizing, cropping and compressing again but it still says they are to big. It usually works if I do it this way am I doing somehting wrong here.

I don't think so. I just posted a picture to see if there was a problem.
