Your pup is still very young (and cute!) You cannot expect a 12-week old puppy to be completely housetrained. How much and when are you feeding the pup? You should be taking the pup out about every 1/2 hour to get use to its duties outside. When the pup does go outside, praise, praise, praise. Leave the poop there for it to smell the scent and will go to it to go again.
As for eating it, this may pass. Heather |

I know she is not supose to be totally house trained already, but I dont think she likes going poop outside, she goes under my bed and trys to hide it, I take her out every 30-45 min and she will go pee but she will only poop outside if she is off the leash. I cant get her to go on a leash, so when I take her for long walks she wont go. And I have heard that eating the poop is a sign that somethings wrong with ur dog. Is this true?

No, there is not anything the matter with your dog eating poop. It is a really, really awful habit that many dogs get into. I have friends with a Golden that was eating it too and they switched its food and no longer does it.
You need to confine your pup. I always had my pups confined to a kitchen or somewhere that they can't damage things. This will stop your pup from running, hiding and pooping. Be patient outside with it. Take some of the poop and put it outside for it to sniff. Good luck! Heather |

Puppies can be strange about pooping, a lot like little kids really.
It might feel a little uncomfortable to poop. Normally they need to walk around a little bit and the place needs to be "just right". Keep working on it, it will come eventually. Make sure to take treats with you every time you go outside. Every time you catch it doing something outside, give it a treat right away, and say "good dog!". Make a big thing out of it... dogs love to please. |

Puppys gone bad........
I am just guessing, but is it possible that your puppy is eating its poop because its trying to hide it. My dog, who also is a purebreed, had the same problem when he was a pup, and we just passed it off as he was trying to get rid of it so he wouldn't get in trouble.
