Greyhounds shot on the sly in England
Sooo much wrong here. I don't have anything against greyhound racers who adopt their dogs out, but using them for four or five years, for no higher purpose than entertainment, and then killing them is just wrong.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...2307_1,00.html In addition to shooting dogs and burying them in his garden, some of the owners of these dogs thought they were being adopted out! Quote:

a friend of mine runs a greyhound sanctuary here in the uk, and most of the time its the vets that phone him because people have took the greyhounds in to be put to sleep, just because they are retired. i was told about this story yesterday when out walking my 2 greyhounds and its so upsetting. also the RSPCA not having time to pursue greyhound abusers is disgusting i know what id like to do to this man but its not for printing.

That is truly sad and despicable too. I would like to take him out back and shoot him

Not a problem I probably couldn't hit the side of a barn. I hate guns
