If this was an indoor only kitty, they don't normally go far from home. The best time to look for them is when all is quiet outside. Take a treat bag to shake and a flashlight to look in nook and cranies.

If you can, leave a box outside with some of your kitty's litter in it so the scent will bring her home and the box will hide her to make her feel secure. Check early mornings (2-5 am).

Have you contacted your neighbours?

Good luck and keep us posted.

Thumbs down Lost Cat

Thank you very much for your concern and advice, the kitty litter is a great idea. We spent the day posting flyers as well as delivering them door to door throughout the neighbourhood, and we will continue with the foot searches.

We'll keep you posted.

Thanks again!

In addition to the litter box, if you can leave an unwashed shirt, as opposed to a clean one because it has your scent on it, on your deck/stairs that may help guide him/her home.

good luck

Noel is home!

My boyfriend remembered how interested she always is in his smelly mountain biking gear...she is always sniffing the pads. So last night he left them outside, along with her kitty litter and her blanket she likes to sleep on, then about 10:00 this morning she pranced into the house! Needless to say we are so happy. She looks pretty good, just a little dirty.

Thank you all for your help. It's nice to know there are such good folks out there!

Noel (No-No) and family
