animal welfare section??

with all the stuff about BSL and other groups trying to raise awareness of such a wide variety of issues, i was thinking it may be useful to have a specific area dedicated to animal welfare issues and information alerts and such about topics..ie a place where we can discuss the whale killing/seal clubbing/animal abuse in general issues?? it may help some groups looking for support for various issues, this would make it more centralised and focused.

Oooooh and also laws and stuff too. Hopefully the laws will change soon and maybe we can discuss them.

Maybe like a Policy section-- covers all animals and all laws etc, maybe a subforum in the news section?

This is something that we may consider down the road.

Although an important issue, animal welfare in general might be beyond the scope of what this particular pet forum was intended for.
