Grooming clippers

I want to learn to groom Charlie myself and want to buy professional equipment. I know how to use clippers already (I used to be a hairstylist) but there are so many different models when it comes to dog grooming.

Can anyone suggest a good clipper?

My dog is an American Cocker Spaniel and his coat is not very thick.

Thanks!

Been a groomer since early 80's and my fav clippers are the Andis AGC. They're lightweight, contoured for sure grip and can use oster and andis blades. They also seem to have a longer longevity than any others I've used.

the ones i liked for my cocker is the Andis clippers with ceramic something or other. Blades didnt heat up and they stayed pretty sharp for a while.
Self grooming can be an adventure lol
