what I want to do is put a drain in the floor of the mudroom and set up a dog shower in there! Then it wouldn't matter how muddy they get

Now that sounds great except our dining room would look a little funny with a shower suspended from the ceiling and a drain in the floor (patio door to the yard is in this room).

But what a great way to clean up after dinner guests leave .
