Hi From Ontario!

Hello everyone! I just joined this site the other day and though I may as well introduce myself. After some brief browsing I have spotted a few familiar names that I recognize from other forums but most of you are new to me which is pretty cool as I always love makin new friends wih fellow dog lovers!!!

I currently own two male Siberian Huskies named Oceano and Ronan. We do competitive sprint dogsled racing by borrowing a couple dogs from my sledding mentor to complete a 4-dog team.

I do training and behaviour modification in my area. I dont have a business or anything, people just hear about my experiences, successes and stories and tend to come to me for help.

I have a deep passion for the Molosser breeds and am especially drawn to the livestock guarding breeds, specifically the Caucasian Ovcharka, Central Asian Ovcharka, Sharplaninec, and lately have been taking more and more of an interest to Estrela Mountain Dogs. I hope to share my home with one, if not all of these breeds at some point in my life. For now though, I am more than happy with my Husky boys! Speaking of which, I suppose no intro is truly complete without some pictures...right?

Oceano chilling in the kennel

Ronan and Oceano waiting on the deck for their dinner

Ronan where he is the happiest - outside in the snow!

Oceano in pure bliss

Bitey-face is love...

6-dog training run (my friend's hubby rode thr rig so her and I could bike up front and get pedestrians to leash their dogs and get to the side of the path). Tiku and Ronan in lead, OC in team, and Keana and Mochi in wheel

3-dog training run, OC and Ronan in lead and Bonnie (RIP) in wheel

Oy! My modem can't download the pics!

But welcome to the forum, OC_Spirit! Looking forward to chatting.

Maybe my phone lines will be healthier tomorrow and I can properly partake of your husky boys!

WOW......I love the pics. I have a siberian husky now (my third one) and I love the breed. Your Rogan reminds me so much (including the split eyes) of my last girl, Summer.

Welcome to the forum and I hope to see lots more pics of your gorgeous dogs.

Thanks you for all the kind words and the welcome!

Sugarcatmom, oh yes they certainly love the sport as much as I do if not more! I always wonder when people ask me if the dogs like pulling, I mean, if they didn't enjoy it then why would I be doing it?

Rottielover, I remember you!!! It's been a long while! How have you and Harley been?

Erykah1310, I dont believe I recognize you...is your handle here different from the other board?

Heather, hello! Nice to see you! How are the pups doing?

Crazydays, that is a very lovely compliment, thank you so much!

OC he is amazing Probiotics are working like a charm..... BUT teaching him to pull is like pulling teeth, wants nothing to do with it.
