Love the squirrelly pic & clean up - is that the cats' dish?

Happy belated 4th bday Zoe

Yes that is the cat's dish in the clean up pic. Zoe only eats the "leftovers" that are on the floor around the dish, she knows the food in the dish is a NO NO. Amos tends to pick and choose which morsels he eats and spits the other ones on the floor....Zoe is his vaccuum cleaner.

One of my Sibes did that too - she'd only eat what was on the floor never touched what was in the dish, pretty amazing considering the breed my cat would pick up a couple of krunchies & drop some on the floor while she was munching the rest, occasionally she'd clean up her own spills before the dog got there

Dogs are great for clean up duty One of my commands has always been "Clean up" free chance to eat what got dropped on the floor

Well of course there are nail marks in the rug--otherwise it wouldn't have been a zoomie!

Zoe's a gorgeous girl. She can have some of our squirrels for buddies...

happy birthday, zoe!!!!!

Hazelrunpack........Zoe is wondering how much postage it would take to ship a box of friendly squirrels to Ontario?? Oh and as a P.S. she would like squirrels that prefer not to eat her favorite green milkbones....they can have all the other ones....just not the green ones. The squirrels here seem to have a "green" preference and keep digging up and stealing her goodies. Oh and a P.S.S, please send SLOW, FRIENDLY squirrels......these ones are too darn fast.

We have some Fat Gray Squirrels that aren't too fast and eat only sunflower seeds. Sounds like they'd fit the bill...

Postage....lessee...these are really Fat Gray Squirrels so figure maybe 7 pounds a piece...a box would hold maybe a dozen so we're talkin' maybe 84 pounds per box...at 69 cents an ounce....

Zoe is beautiful even with the extra fuzz! I love the squirrel pic. Don't have any around close enough for ours to chase any more. Sam scared them all away.

a bit here but have you tried any of the "spinach" green pasta to see if Zoe is not scared of it?

OH OH OH......grey squirrels??????

yummy.......oh wait......she means hurray....

we have a zillion black squirrels (mom and 3 babies live somewhere in our backyard) and one tenacious red squirrel that will literally fist fight the birds for food. But grey and mainly fat squirrels sound like they could liven up the backyard....ahem....neighbourhood just nicely.

Zoe would like to know how quickly they could clear Customs, she is counting out her pennies as we speak.....84 cents a pound, cheaper than pork chops, fuzzier than chicken and a whole box of them would be better than two cats in a blanket...LOL....... Yeah right, she would lick them to death, coming from a dog that cleans dirt off her stuffies.

Oh wait.......69 cents an ounce.....well she better go out and get a job ..........LOL!!

Yeah....I'm still working on the math...84 pounds at 16 ounces to the pound...that's 1344 ounces at 69 cents an ounce...

Wow! That's a lot of cents!!!! It's more than hazel's feeble mind can grasp without her calculator (which is in the other room past the sleeping dogs hazel doesn't want to disturb )

And it'll be even more for shipping cuz the box will have to be made of steel. The squirrels at Hazel Run are really strong. Look what they did to the shepherd's hook to get to the seed:

But they really are very friendly... ahem...
