Question Chow Puppy to Dog??

Hey there, when should I switch Thai from puppy to adult food?? He will be a year old on February 22nd, 2005. He is a smooth chow chow. He is about 51lbs now. Good skin. Good coat. Good eyes. Great teeth. No health concerns.

Just wondering what the census is as to when to change from puppy to adult food. He gets Nutro Natural Choice, Large breed, chicken and rice chunks in gravy wet, and also the same Nutro Natural Choice chicken and rice dry kibble.

So what do you all think... Is it when he turns one?? Or am I late in switching already?? I know chows tend to mature slowly... But what do you think??

I will call the vet this week to find out her opiniion.. just wondered what you all thought...
Thanks
