Macro challenge: Pets up close

Break out the macros! Add your super close-ups of your pets (or even non-pet animals and living things)...

Some noses I took today..
Jemma nose

Boo nose...

I really like this one.. The depth of field line is right through the middle of his nose...

neat pics Prin. I'm sitting here looking so very closely at your dogs' noses and I'm struck with how strange dog noses are, so leathery looking and curly and textured. Weird.

I'll see if I can get some Angus and Finn close ups to add. Maybe we can do a comparative study of cat and dog noses.

lol Frenchy, most people say it's a paw.

Cassie is adorable. It's cool how her upper lashes are blond...

Hey, I was just going to say that! Looks like a flower to me too. She has another little scar there too. I like the second Boo nose too, it's really neat.

I'm afraid I won't be able to get any super-macros, Willow won't stay still enough for that.

Great noses and eyelashes! I know this first one is a little blurry but I love it.

And I love this one of Roscoe.

And I can't leave Otie out.

When she lays on the couch like that I crawl over to her and kiss and kiss her little nose. She just lays there just like that, eyes closed. Doesn't even flinch.

Hmmm, I don't use macro that much on anything but fish.
(Click for bigger)

This one is ok. It's a flower from a plant in one of my aquariums.

Angry betta

Corydoras catfish

I guess I'll have to go use macro on something other than fish now

Ok, this one is pretty closeup anyway, though I can't remember whether I used macro or not.
