Pain and not eating
My cat Pan didn't eat anything today, and he LOVES food. I don't think in his 7 years of life he's ever missed a meal, or gone without reminding me that it's mealtime. I also noticed this evening that he is tender in his hind end near his tail around his spine and will growl when I touch him there (he never growls). He also seems to have a slightly stiff gait. I haven't a clue as to what's going on, and it's concerning me greatly. I fully intend on taking him to the vet, but was wondering if anyone here might know what's going on.
Thanks in advance |

Given the quick onset of the symptoms and the fact that inappetence is a very serious symptom in a cat, quick diagnosis by a vet is imperative. Unfortunately our members are not vets and unable to address potentially serious health issues like this one. Time is critical - please contact a vet immediately.
Good luck, we'll watch for an update on your pet's condition. In keeping with site policy, this thread will now be closed.
