Chico, nope, not ever, especially when Gracie's around...
She'll grab it once it's on the ground or steal it from Gracie, but she hasn't figured out the "catching" thing yet...things tossed at her tend to bonk off her schnozz...

Hey, god you have a beautiful dog. She looks just like Rayne except Rayne has floppy ears From the sounds of it, your Jaida is doing wonderful and she looks as though she feels that way too. Hugs to you and your puppy

OMG Chico, I wish you could have seen her with the frisbee this morning. Gracie wasn't into it, so Jaida had free reign...

I'd toss the frisbee, and Jaida would go barrelling across the yard after it, but she can't quite stop on a dime or bend low quickly, so each and every time she got up to the frisbee laying on the ground (she's still running at full-speed), she'd grab it but be unable to recover from the low stance...so she does full-out-butt-in-the-air-legs-flailing sommersaults, then lands on the ground panting and looking totally pleased with herself. She musta done this a dozen times. TOOOOOO funny!

I just finished reading Jaida's (and your) story from beginning to end and checking out her blog. What an amazing dog, with equally amazing parents. All of you are truly an inspiration. Jaida sure knew what she was doing when she picked you! I wish everyone would take their responsibility to their animal companions as seriously as you do.
Best of luck to all of you.
Just want to add kudos to your vet for being a wonderful, caring man who was more interested in the welfare of your dog than the $$$.

Jaida the frisbee superstar

Not quite as "flippy" as some of her attempts, but it still made me giggle!

Excellent! I was actually able to download 8 seconds and play it!

She's doing so well, bendyfoot! And she looks like she's having a ball
