What were they thinking ?

I just heard on the news in Texas a family kept hearing a buzzing sound coming off the side of their home, so they decided to investigate... ( Let's make sure Puppy comes with us ! ) I'm sure it was obvious that they saw bee's flying around where the noise was, ( instead of sending puppy into the house ) they pull off the side of the house to find a HUGE bee nest and of course, who got it the worst??? their family dog was stung 300 hundred times and had to be put to sleep!!
Did they not have common sense, or was it just instinct.. I'm sure the next time this happens, they will ask their child to go investigate !!!!

Sorry but it angers me so much to hear such a helpless animal go through needless pain.

Is this the same one where the hive covered almost the entire ceiling in the house between the sheet rock and the studs? I saw that on the news.

Saw that on the news today too. I heard that the dog was tied up and so couldn't get away - and that there were closer to 600 bee stings on his face. Poor baby! The family was just "grateful" that it was the dog and not one of the kids! How about being grief-stricken that ANY member of your family was killed?!

Wow that is so sad. I wouldn't think of a moment, I would go back and get the dog if it was tied up.
