June 2011 - Pets.ca photo challenge - Pets at the window

Hi members,

Anyone got any challenge ideas this month?
Thx - Marko

No Challenge Ideas? Ok then I'll put one forward then what about "pets at the window"?

Sounds great to me, Marko. Gonna have to get the vinegar and paper towels out first though .

Yeah, good excuse for hazel to clean her windows, too! Hay!!! hazel hates cleaning windows!

Ok everyone - challenge this month is pets at the window!

I don't have any of Thorin, he isn't big on windows lol. Nookie, on the other hand, just loves to look out the window during a T-storm. He takes after "mommy"

Hazel, I just LOVE that picture!! Such a cute boy, and love your captions, as always

I hope I got this right lol. Were they supposed to be on the other side of the window?

I don't think it matters which side of the window they're on, Robyn! And Nookie looks perfect on the inside! Does he really like to watch storms? LOL Three of ours cower and the other five just sleep right through them! Nanook is quite the adventuresome fella!!

He really does love them!! Thorin is the opposite, he just gets so neuroitc and hides anywhere he can (closets, bathroom etc), poor guy. Nookie though, he always surprises us, he's such a little oddball

One night we were looking for him. I was just panicked because he wasn't anywhere in the house. There was a HUGE T-storm and I always have the patio door open during them. I thought I'd check outside just on the off chance he was out there and stuck, or panicked and wouldn't move, but nope! Neither was the case. He was there, sitting at the railing in the pouring rain just watching while lighting was flashing and thunder all around
He's sure not a typical dog

Robyn, that's how Ember is!! He's the only one of the Pack who loves fireworks!! He and I sit on the deck during fireworks and admire the show while everyone else trembles inside.

very sad chico, it even had to go in my file with the city, anytime a child is removed from your care it goes on your record as to why.....to this day they all still laugh at that being on my record, such a bad bad smear on my clean slate *L*

Hazel you had me all confused with that pic. At first I thought Cole but then I thought he doesn't have a big eye patch? .

Nookie and Brina . Great pics!

I can't seem to find many of my dog pics on this computer. Will need to look on the other one. I did find this one though .... look closely at Lucy's reaction to visiting Timmie (brother's little pup). She eventually did warm up to him .

oh wow, I didn't know that Marty, is it a city daycare? Aren't the dogs wonderful at helping us out? *L* Brina has laid claim to that chair in the sunroom and normally there is a child sitting there with her.

It does run in his family, though--Cole's sis, Henley, has an eye patch I don't think Kota is related, though...

I guess Lucy wasn't in the mood for a young upstart! Riley looks pretty comfy with the little guy, though!

Love the camper pic of Fred! And the seatbelt shot with the dogs!

Finally a photo challenge I can participate in (I rarely have my camera handy when the 'kids' are off doing something goofy)

Jack and Gracie

Jack, Gracie, and Lucy

Gracie checking out the birds

Jack on the outside looking in (screen door was open, he's not very bright at time lol)

An old one from '05 ... Monty and Lucy looking out the inlaws window (Monty would always use a stool to watch the world)

I think Lucy is wishin' she could sit on the sill with Jack and Gracie in that second shot! What cute shots!! And that one of Jack at the door! Such a sweetie--and such a good boy, waiting for permission to enter.

That's a cool stool that Monty is on! Wish I had one like that for Lil Belle--hazel's back is tiring of lifting her up on the bed every night.

I really think he thought the door was closed .... or he's had too much experience running into the screen thinking it was open.

The stool is a Rubber Maid two step. We have one at the front window which Jack uses to get up on the front sill. Monty used to sit on it in the afternoons waiting for me to come home from work. Was always nice to see him watching as I walked down the road after a long day.

I'll bet it was.

And I still think Jack is just being polite at the door.
