Ear Infection Update!!
So I took rex to the vet yesterday, and he said it is an ear infection.
So he gave me drops to put in his ears, but Rex will not stay still, so i put the drops onto a spoon and then drop it into his ears like that ( makes sense i hope) instead of doing them drop by drop. Its been a day, and its still red, well... crusty with blood and a little discharge( i think it is anyways). HOw can i clean his ears up without hurting him ?! he is wearing his E- collar to prevent him from scratching.... any ideas?

You could use baby oil on a cotton ball or just plain water on the cotton ball too. Did the vet show you how to massage the medicine in his ears? And then let the dog shake if he wants too.

When you put the medicine in his ears massage the outer side of his ear for about a minute or two. I wonder if you could use goldbond for the itching. His ears should be clearing up by now. I give it another 3 days and then see the vet again. Do you think the medicine is working. Good luck.
