help, my cat is sick

Hi, a week ago we found a male cat (kitten 8 months approx) and brought it home. It is not neutered and my female cat and male cat just had a fit. The female cat is now very sick, throwing up, and has really bad diarrahea. Do you think this could be from the presence of the cat in the house. I am taking it to a Pet Rescue home tomorrow and am hoping the cat will get better. She seems really sick. I took her to the vet today and she didn't have a temp, but they couldn't test any stool. Misty was getting sick there as well. They gave me medication to give her and some food but she froths at the mouth when I give her the medication. I don't know what to do.

Contagious

Sounds like the new cat probably gave the old cat something.

They should both be taken to a vet immediately and have their blood and urine tested for abnormalities.
