My 1 y/o jackrussel recently spent the night in the "pound" a bording kennel near me. he came out sneezing and it's like he's blowing his nose. not sure if it's a cold or allergies. should he see a vet??

It might also be bordatella (kennel cough) which is like a doggie cold. There are a lot of different 'flavors' of bordatella--most are mild, some are severe.

Regardless of what it might be, it probably won't hurt to wait a day or two and see how things progress. Watch for discharge, though, or a severe cough, fever, lethargy or loss of appetite. If those occur, or he's just not getting better, a vet visit will be in order.

And welcome to the board!
