Unhappy New to this site.

Hi,

I found this site by searching for information about doggie hemorrhoids.

I have a 5-year-old cockapoo that has some problems. She won't hardly let me lift her tail without jumping. She doesn't want to poop! I would take her for walk and she kept looking at her butt, sitting down quickly, and crying a little. She would go around in circles like she wants to poop but can't, or is afraid to. She is not as playful as usual, won't have anything to do with pooping in the grass anymore, but she is eating. She pees fine. I took her to the vet and he checked her anal sacs. One had a small amount of fluid (which they emptied) but didn't seem infected. They did some xrays but found no blockage. They did a poop sample and found nothing. He gave me some pain meds for her so she can poop more comfortably but doesn't seem to be helping. Today I looked at her anus and after wiping some of the poop away, I found a little bulge protruding from it. She yelped when I wiped over it. It is located about 6 o'clock. Could this be a hemorrhoid? She is definately not herself. She is clingy to me. I feel bad and want to make her better. Anybody have any ideas for me? She didn't have that bulge until after seeing the vet. Why couldn't he have seen something then? What can I do?

I'd head to a new vet. My vet doesn't stop until we know what is going on...

BTW- welcome to the board!

You can ask that vet to forward any test results or xrays to your new vet...
