Unhappy I don't know whats wrong

I have a 5 month old kitten named Diesel. I noticed this morning that his one eye was really cloudy. It kinda looks like an eye of an old animal that might be going blind. Its now sunday and I can't afford to take him to emergency and waiting till tomorrow to take him to the vet is going to kill me. I just want some ideas as to what it could be so that I can actually get some sleep and take him in the morning. Hes usually crazy, running around the house chasing everything and climbing on everything but today he seems very unhappy. He cries when I pick him up and does not want me to look at his eye. I'm worried about my baby and would just like a little input as to what it might be. Could he be going blind this young?

Could it be an infection? Try bathing it with salt water every couple of hours (luke-warm,about 1/4 teaspoon to a cup) with cottonwool. If it gets worse or that does not work, get to a vet ASAP. Bring the kitty to a vet tomorrow!!

In my experience, cloudy eyes are usually infections either caused by clamydia or herpes. Some are chronic and need to be treated by antibiotics, sometimes aggressively.

I'd get the kitty to a vet ASAP!!!

Yay

I took him to the vet and yes it was an infrection. The vet gave hime some antibiotics and now the little devil is back to normal. His eye cleared up really well and he seems much happier now. Thanks for caring guys!
