Hi It's good to meet everyone

I have 4 dogs-- 3 Shih Tzus, Mai Tai, Jasmine and Chloe, and 1 Doberman-Lab named Fred. I have 20 cats, all are fixed, some are feral and some live inside. The ferals all have houses we built for them outside. I am hoping to breed my Shih Tzu Chloe with Mai Tai but he is 13 now and has only 20% fertility. I want to breed him like I did his dad Max to keep the line going. I do not sell any of the dogs they are just family pets. I have been having problems the past year with all these cats in the house and really need advice especially since two cats have died of FIP despite my attempts to help them with lots of veterinary care, alternative and traditional. I look forward to talking to all you animal lovers out there and sharing my stories and hearing yours.

Hi chloe47 welcome to pets.ca, I'm sorry it wasn't under better circumstances

I will let you know this is a very pro spay/neuter board with alot of people who work/volunteer with rescue animals so just so you are aware your planned breeding (especially of an older animal) will not go over very well with the general population of the members here.

We do have several feral cat angels here perhaps you can help each other out with tips/stories on trap/neuter/release with them.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good info to be had. Except for the breeding part. Not quite the right forum if you are looking for breeding tips.

on fixing all of the cats!! That is quite a job! Pics would be great to see.
