Mom blames ferret for chewing off baby's toes

http://edition.cnn.com/2006/LAW/12/2...ref=affiliates

New headline now states that the mother blames the pet ferret for chewing off the child's toes. The father still blames it on the puppy.

Yeah exactly. The Mother should blame herself, not try to place blame on an animal. Even though one of the animals did it, the responsibility lies with the parents to prevent these things from happening.

I would be happy to take either pet off their hands. Obviously they are not fit to own animals or children.

Anyone volunteer to take the children? Then we can have mom and dad spayed and neutered like they should have been before they could bring a child into the world.

You have to have a license to practice medicine, drive a car or own a bar but any idiot can have a child or buy an animal and ruin its life indiscriminately.

Lettin the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin it back in.

Most of the stuff people worry about ain't gonna happen anyway.

I read that the parents were made to give up both pets and both children (there is a 2 year old also). I don't think that the pets were put down. The parents were charged and there were drug tests pending. The children are in the care of grandparents which, to be honest, can't be all that much better since they raised these idiots in the first place.

Yeah, but sometimes, no matter how hard you try, your kids just fall off the track, and let's just hope this is one of those cases...
