Meet Captain a male lab x. He was an unclaimed stray from the pound, between 9-11 months old. He had no sensation below the first joint of his leg but the vet thought if he was fitted for a brace, his leg wouldn't have to be amputated. He was fitted for his brace, but his leg continued to drag on the ground and cause abrasions and skin infections. It was decide to amputate the leg. Captain doesn't know any differnt, as he had been functioning with only three good legs for some time. He is a loving, enthusiastic boy with a love of life and evrything and everybody he meets! He loves giving doggie kisses and just wants a furever home to spend forever! He is currently in a foster home while he recovers from surgery, but he can be packed and ready in a flash, if he finds his forever home!
