I just read your other thread , you really should get another vet's opinion. It could be some kind of Mange , this could be serious !

I agree. Your dog needs to be checked for mange mites.

Poor baby! What a beautiful face.
I had to go to 3 vets to get an opinion. Third one was a charm. Please seek out another opinion. Good luck. |

I just wanted to tell you that Chili is so adorable. Keep digging and see as many vets as you have to find out what is wrong with the little cutie.

I would say a skin scraping is a must for the wee one.

Poor Chili.....he looks so sad.
I agree with the others and would also have skin biopsies done. You said you are feeding him a meat free wheat and corn free diet. So is he just getting veggies and other grains? Since grains are the biggest cause of allergies I would try him on one of the grain free kibbles like Orijen or Wellness CORE. Good luck and please keep us posted. |

Bulldog Skin
Has your dog been tested for ringworm? Mine tested positive, but her skin is absolutely disgusting! It has only been 2 weeks, but she is a BullDog mix, and I heard that Bulldogs are prone to skin problems.....just our luck!

Do You Know If You Have Vet. Specialists In Your Town?? Where I Live We Have A Vet Dermatologist. If Not Ask Your Vet If They Would Be Willing To Contact A Vet Derm To Consult With On His Case.
Second Opinions Are Always Good. I Had A Vet That I Thought Would Do Anything For My Dog And She Waited Till My Dog Was In The Hosp. Last Week To Tell Me I Should Find Someone Else She Did Not Have Time For My Dog To Figure Out What He Needed. She Was Too Busy To Consult Other Dr.s Or To Spend Time On His Chronic Case. We Got A Second Opinion And Low And Behold My Dog Is Home Now Eating. She Consulted With A Specialist The Day Of Our Appt And Called Me That Night With Treatment Plan. Hope This Helps. |
