Hi, I'm Laura with Rio, Eko and three budgies.

Hi everyone!

My name is Laura and I found this forum as I've been looking up some training tips for my puppy. I'm the proud "momma" of Rio (an 11.5year old bichon/poodle mutt - I adopted when he was 2.5years old), Eko (said like "echo" - my 11month old havanese/bichon/poodle mutt thing who everyone thinks has some dachshund in her because she's so long) and Ripley, Iggy Pop and Juno, my three very vocal budgies.

I'm looking forward to reading more posts and maybe even getting some advice on the forum as it's great to hear about difference experiences/training from other dog owners.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

My pups! (Rio is the white one and Eko is the black/tan/silver one)

Welcome to the board, Laura! And we didn't even have to bug you for pics! Your furkids are adorable!

Laura, they are both adorable, what I know of Bichons,is that their body is longish for a small dog.
I know a man who has 2 pure Bichons and they have longish bodies,so probably no Dachshund in Rio,IMO.

Thanks so much for all the lovely welcome messages! I'm really glad I found this forum

chico2 that's what I keep telling people but her length, but no one believes me. It doesn't help that she's still all super lean because she hasn't filled out yet so she looks even longer that way. Either way, she's a keeper!
