All my herbs are too "leggy"

I have pots on my railings with herbs. I have basil, dill, parsley, oregano, rosemary, thyme, tarragon, and cilantro.

The dill is especially leggy. The tarragon is perfect, the oregano, rosemary and thyme are fine. The basil is good. The parsley can get out of control though and so can the cilantro.

I read that dill gets leggy if there's too much sun so I moved the ones that give me trouble to the side porch where they get afternoon shade but still they're like beanstalks and they want to go to seed.

Any advice?
