Spay Clinics in Toronto

Hi,

Has anyone taken their kitten/cat to The Toronto Animal Services East Spay-Neuter Clinic at Eglinton and Keele Street or the SPCA one out in Newmarket? I need to get my 5 month old kitten spayed next month and I'm not sure how long the waiting list is at either of these clinics. I have taken a day off work in October and I'm hoping I can get her in on that day because it's really hard for me to get time off work. Any experiences with any of these clinics would also be appreciated as I'm a little scared for my poor little girl (I had a kitten die many years ago when I took her to get spayed).

Thank you.
