Bendy's Girls: a fall day

I enjoyed a "photo shoot" with the girls this week...a beautiful sunny fall afternoon. It's been a while since I posted pics, I hope y'all enjoy!

Heidi is a difficult subject. "Outside" to her means: "run around after toyskongswubbascuzesballs like a crazy loon until you collapse with exhaustion". Most pics of her are just a black streak.

She's just so darn BUSY!!!

Here I come!

Quick, throw again!!!

Footballs are popular too, especially ones bigger than her head.

Ok, she's starting to get tired(ish) now. It's about eleventy-million throws later.

The sun is starting to get low, beautiful warm light. Heidi looks up to no good two of these pics

Yeah, she's totally our little athelete, just a gorgeous little bod on her.

I'm getting there, I'm getting there...

Gracie first though. Camera-shy Gracie was unusually diva-esque and didn't do her usual disappearing act when I pulled out the camera.

The setting sun gave her a glowing halo of crazy fur...

She sat pretty and statuesque for me while I snapped these shots, some of my favourite ever of her...

she caught a whiff of something interesting here...

Jaida next. Now Jaida is usually (IMO) my most photogenic. We had some issues this day, though. The main issue was her orange Cuz

Me: "Hey Jaida, let's get some pics, whaddaya say?"

Jaida: "NOM"

(Ten minutes of blurry photographs later) Me: "arg!!!"

Jaida: "OH HAI!"

Sheesh.

aaaaaand, Jaida's "outtake". She looks like a giant head. This is NOT a good angle for her...

You too?

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder (and the shutterbug) I DO love the light tone in the pic, but OMG I just snicker every time I look at it otherwise. Her head is HUGE! And the look on her face is a little "duuuhhh", don't you think???

When I look at that pic I see a very happy, very healthy dog. I love the other close up of her too but I don't see a big head.
I was showing hubby her pics and did a quick rundown of her story for him. He was suitably impressed with her; which for him says a lot!!

They are great pic. I totally know what you mean about the eleven million throws. Clark will chase his pathetic (because it is so full of holes it does not even bounce) ball all day long then comes home and snores for a couple of hours.

There is Gracie and Jaida,Gracie in spite of her strange scruffy fur, does look really regal,it must be a total mystery what she is mixed with, but she is really pretty.
Jaida can never give us a bad pic,she is always very beautiful,I feel I know her better, since we knew her from puppy-hood with her bum leg
They are a wonderful bunch,period.

Thanks! Yeah Gracie's a very pretty girl in a scruffy way. I love watching her run, her fur litterally streaks behind her in waves...it makes her whole body look like ripples of water.
