Hi there!
we are longtime pet lovers! we always had a dog growing up, however when we got married (1979) we got 2 cats because we both worked, they lived for 19 years and when they went to kitty heaven, we told our 3 kids they could each get a pet...we ended up with a chinchilla and 2 guinea pigs. The guineas have gone to piggie heaven and we still have a chinchilla who is moving to Ottawa with our daughter in May...that leaves our home petless. My husband is allergic to cats now and to be on the safe side, we are looking to adopt/rescue a non-shedding dog. We are retired and spend many months at our cottage near Ottawa, so if you know of any furry friend looking for a new home, please let me know. Possibly a tibetan terrier, bedlington terrier???Thanks for reading our life story in a paragraph, lol!

HI and welcome!!
Your kitties certainly lived long and wonderful lives. There are TONS of dogs in shelters and rescues would love a home like yours, but I really doubt any of them are Tibetan or Bedlington terriers. If you want to take a homeless dog, maybe you should consider a more common breed, like a poodle. They are low shedding, long-lived, and very smart! |
