One of the Lights of my life: Keyto Girl

Keyto passed away yesterday Sept. 12th, suddenly at the age of 12 yrs.
I knew she was getting on in years, her arthritis was worsening and she was becoming stiffer in her back end. Almost totally blind, my heart just ached for her some days. I would watch her and it hurt me so much that she couldn't run and play like she used to, but she was still a happy dog and MUCH MUCH LOVED!
Jessi just had her 11th birthday party this weekend and took her for a walk Sunday afternoon along with her girlfriends who had spent the night. She kissed her goodbye yesterday morning and went off to school.
I'm in shock, it all happened so fast . The boys who are 15, and trying to be strong have always known you Keyto, you were just always there. Jaymee is heartbroken, Daddy is crying and had tea without you this morning. Jessi is trying so hard to be brave. I knew she was growing old and often told her 'I know how you feel Keyto Girl..I'm stiffer too and just don't have the same get up and go I used to have'. She was devasted when we lost GrizzyBear last Oct.18th but in time she came around and spent more time with us for cuddles. I pray she is running pain free with GrizzyBear and they are together again. I'm sorry I can't type more or find the right words, the tears are burning my face again, but Keyto, my beautiful angel doggie, I love you and miss you terribly. Einstein is lost, Hooch is sad for us and wandering around looking for you like you looked for GrizzyBear. Rest in the warm sun you love my beautiful babygirl, and run in endless fields with GrizzyBear. You will always be remembered and forever loved.  Please give GrizzyBear a kiss from all of us and someday I'll kiss your soft gentle muzzles again too   I love you sweetie!

Oh dear

Sorry to hear about your lose, the pain you are feeling can not be described and I do know how you feel, as I lost my darling boy a month ago, don't try and be strong, let yourselves grieve, don't bottle it up.

Take solace in the knowing that you loved your darling dog with all your heart and that the good times that you have all shared together no-one can every take those memories away from you.

My thoughts are with you, and a hug across the ocean for your all.

Till we can all be meet at Rainbow bridge.

Losing a furbaby is devastating! Yet, the years of joy and unconditional love are soooo worth it. You've written a beautiful farewell to Keyto.
