Question Need to put weight on my picky chi

My two year old chi has always been on the lean side. She's never been a huge fan of food and treats. She eats to live not lives to eat.

She's been doing well on Orijen puppy kibble and Merricks puppy wet since we got her (at 11 weeks).

After spending the last week at the VEC with an unknown allergic reaction to something and a pretty bad gastro outbreak, she is finally home with a clean bill of health.

She has lost a lot of weight and is very thin now. Since she was only 3.8 pounds to begin with you can imagine how small she looks after losing weight.

I was thinking of adding some cooked chicken and rice to her food to help increase the calories, as well as adding some more feedings throughout the day.

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help put weight on her?

I've seen satin balls mentioned but there are so many different recipes that I don't know which one to go with, plus some of them seem like HUGE batches.

Thanks in advances for any/all suggestions.

V

Really? No one?

Please I'd be happy with any suggestions or advice anyone could offer.

can you not just increase her daily intake of her food? maybe put a bit of gravy or broth on it to increase her appetite. you don't want her putting too much weight on too fast, thats also not very good for her.
