The Tewfs are here! :D

Ok. So they're here... *sigh*

They were awesome in the car, but when they met Jemma and Boo... *sigh* I was watching Pablo, when Leila was the troublemaker... She fought a little with Jemma and Boo, trying to get them to stay away from Pablo... It's calmish now... Jemma and Boo are staying away from Leila... Boo growls at Pablo here and there, but we try to stop him really quickly because that's what sets Leila off...

Ok, so that was the bad news. Here's the good news.

They're soooo cuddly and lovely! Pablo is a velcro dog. He pushes and pushes until you pet him. Right now, he's giving me a break from the petting... But if I move... He walks in front of you and stops and puts all his weight into it so you have to walk around the back of him to keep going.. hehe...

Leila is so excited to see toys. She chewed on a kong for about a 1/2 hour, then I brought her inside and she buried it in a sofa. We covered everything with towels to try to help with the nervous saliva situation...

Ok. So pics, eh?
I think I used up my smilies, so I'll post this...

I can't believe they left me tied up outside when I look like this...

Oh, I forgot, the neighbor who had lots of questions when we fostered Lily was outside when we arrived, so there was no hiding from him. So he came over and met them and fell in love.

First little accident... Pablo's a little more subtle with his signs... Leila asks for the door, but Pablo asks us... But he's always asking us for stuff, so it's hard to tell the difference... We'll get the hang of it.

Pablo barked once so far... That's about it.

They're gorgeous. and look so nice and clean now. They could use a little exercise though but don't imagine that's going to be a problem.

Pablo does look like a big goofball so you'll get lots of laughs with his antics. Things should settle down with Leila once she gets used to her new surroundings.

Glad your neighbour fell in love with them but then who wouldn't?

Hope you've stocked up on film cuz I'm looking forward to lots more pics.

You just have to learn to speak/understand Newf.

Prin I hope the wet concrete in the Pablo "Can I come in" picture isn't all drool They look soooo different, now they'll look fabulous when the hair comes back in. Lucky dogs to have you and the man. I really hope that they all settle down well. Leila will figure it out eventually I guess. Nobody will hurt her baby boy. That's so cute. Well have a good night!!! You guys rock!

Aww, they're so gorgeous. You're both so wonderful for fostering them.

Just had to post a comment before this thread gets too big and I can't load the page anymore.

Wow - they look so different without all that hair.

I have thought about fostering but with two dogs already I thought it would be a lot to take on so I commend you! Especially since they are so big! They are lucky dogs!

So they're not too hungry... They were all excited when I opened the bag, but when I put it down... Not so much. Pablo ate a bit, Leila ate next to nothing. She's a little more stressed than Pablo though.

Oh and no, it's not all drool. When Leila drinks, she sticks her whole face in the bowl... But she's cleaner than that in the house though.

Yeah, they're probably too excited to eat. Do you know what they were being fed before?

Does Leila leave lots of drool floating in the water bowl?

Together they don't leave as much as Lily yet... But my god the drool! I'm so not used to it. I hope Jemma and Boo don't learn from them at all.

I can't wait to get settled... Leila already knows how to use sofas and even pillows on sofas, so I'm pretty impressed. She must have been spoiled in a past life.

They're both so sweet.

Definitely cuddly. They're soooo cuddly. They love to be pet so much, I guess because they can feel it now...

Leila getting comfy...

And Pablo, taking advantage of the man...

Yeah those are BIG heads
So is Boo that much smaller? Hard to judge by pics....especially since he is bigger than Jemma.

They're taking a break now... Leila on Boo's sofa, and Pablo on my man.

Jemma and Boo are still really upset though.
