LOST Chihuahua: Lake Kennebec, Central Frontenac, Arden ON

Hello All, Just a quick edit to the original message to let you know we found our dog Selena. Thanks for reading!

Hello, I joined the site after Googling Lost Pets Ontario. Our family is currently in a panic...

My family is currently up at the family cottage on Lake Kennebec. They left our 14 year old Chihuahua Selena and 1 year old Shih-poo Myra alone while they travelled to Belleville for the evening.

They came back after midnight, to find Myra on the deck by herself, and Selena nowhere to be found. Myra punched out a screen window on the main floor and they escaped.

Selena is a light brown Fawn Chihuahua. She did not have her collar on when she escaped. She is very people friendly, including kids, but she tends to be nervous around dogs.

She's 14 but she's in pretty good shape for her age. She has a wart-like bump on the top of her neck, a reddish bump on her lower belly and her eyes are getting cloudy. She also suffers from seizures, and has a little heart trouble.

She's likely to come around when you are outside BBQing, as she's a bit spoiled and accustomed to scraps.
Please call anyone who you know in the area, to ask them to help us keep an eye out. Especially when BBQing outside.

Thank you to everyone in advance!!

36 Hours Later- We Found Her

Thanks to all who read my post, but she turned up at a house about 6 km's north of the cottage.

Selena scratched at a lady's door at 5 in the morning. Turns out she was a vet too. Anyways, what a relief.

Thanks again!!
