Breed of Dog

Luba, just saw the pics of Sadie, she's toooo cute. I was wondering what breed she is, she looks similar to our new puppy who is supposed to a Shep/Collie cross.

Hi,

She's mostly rough collie and we're not sure of her parentage. She's a rescue ya know I've shown her pics to some breeders who told me she could pass as a pure bread rough sable collie. I could care less, she's a beautiful girl personality wise and looks too The more I see her the less I see any GSD though and think maybe Golden Lab, but who knows...maybe just collie? We'll never ever know.

Turned 5mons the beginning of May.

Would love to see your pictures too

WOW Luba, she is a great weight....You have done an amazing job with her....

Her hair is a bit short for a pure collie...I would say she was mixed with a Smooth Collie....But looking at her tail, she could have just a bit of Shepherd..

She is a looker though....

Ya I know what u mean Mona we'll have ta wait and see about her lol

Our other rough collie Laddie had short hair until he was about 8/9 months then it got longer. The tail is exactly like our Laddie's was (he was p/b from a breeder then )

She may have shep in her she may have a 'doodle' in her LMAO

But I bet she'd like to play with Tron and company

Luba,
Our pup Abbey is also from a rescue shelter. She's about 6 mos. old now and we were told Shep/Collie . I was just wondering because we were curious about how big she's going to get. My husband thinks she's mixed with Border Collie, but she's already about 40 + lbs, so unless the Shep. is dominant, I think she's probably rough collie. Don't have pics available, ( have to get my son to show me how to do it ).
Doesn't really matter, Abbey is now part of our family.
