GlucoEnsure for cataract in dogs

Hi there! I have a 11 year old Bichon Frise who was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago. He is now on insulin and is doing much better. His diabetes however have affected his vision. He has cataract and can barely see. I read that a natural herb medicine called GlucoEnsure might help with his cataract. Are you familiar with this medicine and are you in any position to tell me if this medicine will be good for my dog considering the fact that he is on insulin? Are there any other medicine you suggest? I love my dog very much and I'm trying to do everything I can to improve his health. Thank you in advance for your help!

I have been using a product called Can C which can be googled on the Internet. The product states that it takes 3-9 months for any results to be noticed. I have had my dog on this for @2 months and am hoping to see results. Not sure if it will work or not but the testimonials are encouraging.
