puppy has ringworm

I recently adopted a 7 wk old mixed breed puppy from the animal shelter. He recieved wormind medication at the shelter befor I brought him home. The worms in his stool were dead yesterday and this morning. He had a movement this evening and some of the worms were alive. Any suggestions?

Take your puppy to the vet. Also if you have anyother pets they will have to undergo treatment as well. After you got yor puppy did you take him to the vet's for a checkup? If is important to get any new dog or cat to the Vet's for a checkup after adopting them from the Humaine Society or even a breeder.
