A whole year has gone by !! - Pet forum for dogs cats and humans

It is just over a year now since we brought this fellow (Buddy) home. The first few months were kind of rocky for this rescue, Buddy was not your "typical" Golden Retriever. He was skinny, scared and kind of aggressive around other dogs. Now, a year later, it is like he is not the same dog. He is friendly with everyone, including other dogs, he is a big suck, very lovable and is getting much more in touch with his "golden" side. We count our blessings every day. We have taken him to a place here in Toronto for regular baths, (it is like a doggy spa.) Grooming though, is something that we have not tried. I am hoping to find someone who can come to the house to do it. He is very nervous around an electric clipper. Any suggestions ? He really needs a haircut. (We have been brusing him and trimming his paws, tail etc.)
