I know three dogs named Lily in our small town and they're all white ones. Another QC/BC difference like a raspberry I guess.

What a cutie! I love how chatty she is. And that growling sounds verrrry familiar... hehe Good luck Prin!

As far as housetraining, take her out about 15 mins after every meal and when she wakes up and after playtime. We just took ours out routinely once an hour. It's a pain, but it's so worth the effort. btw, how big will she get? OH, one more tip, if she does poo in the house, pick it up and take it and her outside where you want her to go. I've used that tactic too. It's supposed to teach them that THAT'S where the poo goes. Make sense? Anyways, good luck!

P.S. -- If I'm telling you redundant info, feel free to ignore me. When we got Sasha she would stick to us like glue. She still hates to go outside. I think cuz she was outside for a while. Anyways, she would be standing next to me wanting attention. I would cross my arms and look up and totally ignore her. It took a little time but she eventually would wander off and do her business, then I praise the heck out of her. She is starting to go better and better outdoors. Ok, I'll stop now. Toodles!

Thanks Brandy. Do I ever get to sleep?

I'm thinking based on her paws and her head that she still has a lot of growing to do. Her paws are bigger than Boo's.

Sleep? What's sleep? I know with ours, they slept in a crate right by the bed and if they so much as whimpered out the door we'd run! Stinks when it's freezing outside...

Yeah, it's a little freezing out now... Sucks because she's either wandering or sleeping, so I don't know when she has to go (because she's always wandering).

She's funny though. Every now and then she gets a fit of excitement and runs into things for a few seconds and then stops.

She really needs a bath too... Smells like vet and has some UNC's in her fur... (unidentified nasty crunchies).

prin that settles it... boo is a newf/lab/+mystery dog mix the earset & shape & length, the eyes specially, the way he walks, his coloring of course... i mean just look at those two faces how similar they are

you won't want to let her go, i can already tell

Yeah, her thigh fur is Boo's but a little longer.

I just want to sleep now that Brandy said I'm not allowed. Sooo tired. If Lily gets to sleep, I should too. She sleeps all bendy.. Like a puppy. I just hope I get some good enough pics to get her a forever home fast.

I like Lily as a name for her. Or Wendy (I'm a Peter Pan fan)
Cindy? (as in Cinderella)

No I think Lily is good she looks like a flower very sweet.

Sorry I got so excited when I saw her that I didn't even notice two more pages of posts and just typed away. Glad I picked the name you liked though and I will point out I liked it before I knew you'd decided on it .

No. You picked it first. But she just looked like a Liy. I thought you were going to bed.

Yeah, I shudda been.

I think she's a good Lily. But I also think she manipulates people... She pretends she's all scared, but really it's a way to get the peeps to back off so she can go chew on their shoes.

OMG she is adorable. How did you ever get the man to agree? Don't worry you'll soon figure out her own personal potty signs and be able to rush her out. Girls are usually easier then boys anyway (in my experience) because it is way easier to see the squat then the little lean forward that the boys do.

This is what I just posted in the TJT..

This is what the little one looks like "de-pooped".
Aren't I a dainty girl? I'm lovely!

And can't have a newf foster without the token newf shot (only this time the lips actually go over the arms!!! lol)

I'm in so much trouble. But at the end of the day, the man's not gonna let me keep her, so we just have to wish for a new home..

Meanwhile, she's filthy (in an anal Prin sort of way...) and my man's sleeping so soundly...

Prin she is adorable, her eyes are making me melt You have so many fun and sometimes challenging days ahead of you, enjoy them and take lots of pics of Lily so you can make a foster album. You know all to well parting with her will be one of the hardest things you will ever do but she will never forget you. So glad you are being a foster mummy again

I would adopt her if I saw that last picture! And she is one big pup! So glad she did her business outside. How did the night go? I hope I didn't scare you with the no sleep deal. lol I didn't realize she was 8 mos, I thought she was 4 for some reason. Prolly from watching Animal Cops, they had 4 month old black lab puppies, sooo cute. Anyway, off to work I go!

Great photos Prin! I'll put them up tonight when I get home from work..

Lily is like having a pup as she only knew the outdoors until about 3 weeks ago. So she'll take a bit to get used to the confinement of the house, thus the pacing. But that's a huge step she went to the bathroom outside for you with you there. Means she's trusting a lot more. She's petite for a Newf but I think she'll be doing some fair bit of growing now that she's in a home and being fed better.

You can reach me at the office if you need me Prin. I've got to get ready now! Give her a big hug n nice smooch for me, smell or no smell, lol.
