Neutering a cat
Hi,
I am wondering what sort of safety precautions should be in place when a cat is neutered. After calling around I found some vets have a much lower rate then others. What questions should I ask to ensure I am not trading quality of care for price? |

You could do a research on line and see if there any bad reviews about the vet , and try to ask some friends if they know of a good vet. When call for appointment and can made one the same I would wonder why , a good vet it booked up for a whole day in advance .

I'm with BD - Google/check out the vet.
If it's a new vet without much feedback, just walk into the office alone first one day without an appointment. Ask a few general questions (like the vet's experience - how many operations performed etc.) and get a feeling for the place and the vet. sniff the air - look around - trust your instincts. These are all legitimate questions when deciding on a new product or service for your pet, yourself or anyone else. A quality place will be happy to answer you. That said - referrals will always make you feel safer. Hope that may help.
