any good websites or books on homecooking for dogs

My moms 14 year old mix is not eating her dog food anymore due to them putting medication in it for health issues. She has been to the vet weekly for the last few months due to deteriorating health I don't think she will be here come next winter if she makes it that long its all about quality of life now not quantity. They have started making her food for her but are worried about her getting the right balanced diet, vitamins and so on. Was wondering if anyone out there knows of a really good website or a book on homemade dog food and vitamins where to buy some for dogs??? Thanks for your help.

There is K9 Kitchen and Optimal Nutrition, both by Monica Segal. There are many detailed recipes for both raw and cooked meals complete with nutritional information.

I picked up my copies at a seminar but they should be available through dogwise.com .
