Penny will let me run the wand over her a couple of times before moving away. She seems to accept the vacuum more than the brush .

Lol, I've never tried... I rather enjoy keeping all fingers and, well, arms INTACT. but I imagine its a pretty good way to get rid of loose hair and dander... So long as the suck isnt TOO strong...

My cats scatter when the vacuum cleaner comes out, but a lady I used to work with, her Siamese loved it.

Hmmmm...I will wait until Seth gets out form under the bed and let you know LOL!

I think Messina might get used to it...she is an attention hound...Mooki would let me vacuum her tail, but that was it...Jaeger would follow the vacuum around hissing at it and I didn't ever try to vacuum her...

I've never tried it on my guys. But my friend has a golden/ lab cross and he just loves it! He follows the vacuum around and keeps trying to sit in front of it so she'll stop and use it on him.
I believe she just uses the "floor" attachment

My in-laws Lab X loves it, as do Kailey & Rupert (he's one strange feline...) It's quite effective for fur control!

Chase hides in our bed as soon as it's turned on though

We used to vaccuum our GSD's when I was growing up - they both loved it and it did cut down on the amount of loose hair.

None of my current dogs would let me come near them with the vaccuum. In fact one dog runs around and gathers up all his toys when the vaccuum comes out like he's worried that it will eat them. LOL

I used to have a cat that loved it and a couple of dogs that didn't mind but all the cats/dogs I have now will not tolerate it.

Fudge hunts the vacuum,as soon as she hears it she starts stalking it and then attacks the nozzle if you take the brush part of so it's just the tube she'll roll around with it fighting with it while it sucks up her tail, arms, legs whatever.I put her in her room if I'm in a hurry that day if not vacuuming takes much much longer!!!

Mine are all scared stiff of the vacuum. I wish they weren't, because it would be a great way of brushing them!

the only place i can vacuum without being lambasted by the dog is where he cant go!!! he is a HUGE fan of being vacuumed!! i have 2 different attachments he likes, the roller brush and the flat thing.

the cats hate it.
