lol, he is And, thanks for the compliments

Yeah, Elmo is afraid of Peanut, which is funny because Peanut will go right up to him, totally fearless, and Elmo will run away....Gonzo, on the other hand, is quite curious and will bat him very gently (under my STRICT supervision, of course!!) I would never leave them alone together though, that's for sure No matter how used to each other they may be, Gonzo is still a cat, and Peanut is still a bird

I know my cats would tear up any bird... they meow-chirp at the window ALL day long at birds in the yard!
That is so funny that he's afraid of the bird.

Haha, that's funny, my cats do that too, out the window, and they do it with Peanut while he is playing in his cage, but once Peanut is out of his cage, they are more cautious and scared than they are predatory. I'd like to keep it that way too!!

Oh, Bama! Your kitties are beautiful! And your bird is very pretty, too! Hmmm-Elmo, Gonzo and Scooter - not a muppet fan, are you?

Cool

WOW, Gonzo looks as though 'breakfast was served', but was trying to figure out how to get rid of those feathers.....

lol Writing, yes, we are huge Jim Henson fans, so our choosing of Scooter's name was quite intentional

Debanneball--lol. Yes. If Peanut and Gonzo were to have met like that without me there, I'm sure Peanut would be missing quite a few feathers, at least! But rest assured that that beak of his could do some serious damage to Gonzo as well!

CF,here's a pic of my friends bird Bowser and one of his 5 cats.
Bowser is never in his cage, only at night....
The cats totally ignore him,but this is a young cat and he still has not experienced Bowsers very strong beak...
I just LOVE Bowser,he's really funny and he has a wonderful life, other than total freedom in the jungle(which I would prefer)his life is a cats meow
