Polite !?....sounds like (i might be wrong) that when you see something not right, you ask???.....
f that...with these type of ppl...i myself have taken from idiots...when they threatened to call the cops, I had and still have no problem with that..when your wrong..your wrong PERIOD.....thats how I ended up with my tigger...took him from someone when he was 6 months...the sh* head wanted him back...did not happen..

There's a small article in "Le Journal de Montréal" wich basicly says the family is OH SO SAD ... someone was suppose to come to see the dog everyday and get the dog inside (WTF did the owners just didn't leave him inside) but that person couldn't because of the snow / bad roads....the family are getting threatening phone calls....their lawyer asks how can they know the dog died from the cold,he could have been beaten or poisonned !!!! that's a lawyer for you they will practice an autopsy on the dog to find the cause of death....BTW, the dog was 8 years old :sad:

So they had the money to go to Cuba with their kids, (someone told me the lady has a pretty good job) and they alreay hired a lawyer !!! But couldn't place the dog in a kennel They are VERY lucky they're only getting threatening phone calls....

All the more reason to never leave your dog outside unsupervised, especially if you've left on vacation.

I am sure nothing is going to happen to these callous,uncaring people. Just the fact they left the dog outside and went on holiday,is enough to make you sick and the person supposed to feed him??
What was he/she thinking,too much snow and the poor dog don't get fed,OMG
