Question Shepherd Huskey mix sick

I have a 8 year old shepherd huskey mix. For the last couple of years she has developed diarrhea which only occurrs every 6 to 8 weeks. When I discover her diarrhea I fast her for 24 hours, then feed her rice and boiled chicken and she seems to be fine. I have taken her to the vet several times even the day she had diarrhea and have had lots of tests run with no explanation. Once the vet noticed she had gas in her intestines from a xray. Could anyone give me ideas on what might be happeining?? Thanks

What is your husky eating? Maybe the brand is just not agreeing with him. It could also be the fact that he is always eating the same food day after day. I always rotate between two or more brands to give them a balanced diet.

Red face

It could be pancreatitis, my 11 yr old Borzoi just suddenly had a case of it. The x-rays showed fluid and lots of gas. She had the same symptoms. Her case was acute, so as soon as she got sick, i knew it, but after researching, there are two kinds, the other can occur over a long period of time.
