Hello I am trying to find a cheap place to neuter my male 6 month old cat. He had his first shot but now his vet is saying that he wants him to have 2 more shots. One costing $70 and one costing $60 and then the neutering costs $130. I am a single mom and can't afford that. Does anyone know of a cheaper place in Brantford or close to Brantford? I am at a loss of what to do.

If you can get to Toronto here is a couple of places to try. Also, maybe you could get your vet to let you make payments. $130 is really not that bad for a neuter.

Thank you. I know that $130 is a reasonable price I just can't afford to get him the other shots as well. I'm a single mom and cannot afford to pay $70 and then $60 and then $130 all at once. I was told by my friends that all he should need is his rabies shot so I don't know why my vet thinks he needs these other shots. Unfortunately I don't have a car and can't get to toronto. Thank you anyways

What shots was he given for the first one(s)? Was it a combo or just one? Has he had his rabies vaccine yet? Most vets won't s/n without at least rabies. Maybe if you talk to him and explain your situation he will allow you to do payments for all of them.
