Coda Needs A Loving Home, Montreal, QC.

Coda is a large, sweet, Flat Coated Retriever, approximately 1 year old. He's been with us at the SPCA Monteregie since early December, 06. He is great with dogs and cats and loves affection. He's been both neutered and vaccinated. If you, or someone you know, can provide this wonderful boy a loving forever home, please consider coming to meet him. (Visits: Thursdays & Saturdays between 2 and 4pm)

I'm trying to wear hubby down...but no luck...

I love flat-coated retrievers...and I think he'd look lovely mingling with the Pack but hubby seems to think that 6 is enough right now...

How big is he, poodletalk? Big enough to hold his own against our rowdy 64-pounder?

He is gorgeous, and to see him in person, he's even cuter!!

I had a dog just like him for 17 years - his name was Boubou and he was the sweetest, best dog in the world. If Coda is anything like Boubou, his new family will be the luckiest people in the world!!!!!!!!!!

Coda really is an . I spent some time with him last week and he's just a big teddy bear. I'd say he weighs about 70 lbs or so. When people come to adopt however, some think a large retriever would be a lot of work. It's unfortunate because he'd make the best companion. that the right family will come along soon.

You need to start a new thread to post some pics. Only authorized persons are allowed to post pics in the adoption/rescue threads. You should be able to post pics in any of the other sub-forums (photography etc.).
Looking forward to them .

Congratulations on adopting Coda.

You can create a thread in the photo section and upload pictures of Coda and Balou. You don't have access to upload in the adoption forms, only animal rescues can.

I didn't see your post terri, telling her the samething I did.

News from Coda

Hello everyone,

Just dropped in to give you some news on Coda, he is doing well and both dogs are getting along great, Balou has never been so alive!!! Coda is so affectionate, he now has a ritual of snuggling next to me on the sofa, 2 weeks now and he has settled in quite well, we have started some training, sit, stay, lay down, NO and dont jump on me I had forgotten what it was like to run after a pup for my slippers(his favorite) or how many times in a day I say the words Coda NO!!!! We have not yet introduced him to the rest of the family (horses) maybe in a couple of weeks, once we've settled in, not sure how he will react!! Will post new pics soon...

Corinne

Coda

So Sorry for not giving any news, we're moving tomorrow to the ranch, as for introducing Coda to the horses, well, you know how Coda reacts when he meets someone for the first time, he jumped on the horses face I dont think he realizes how big they are. As soon as we're installed I'll send pics of the whole family...Balou adores Coda and they dont like to be apart, it's so cute...Off to packing more boxes
