Angry I need smaller pics!

I finally bit the bullet and got a digital camera. I would love to share pictures of my babies with you all, but they are too big! Any tips for shinking them? I have tried cropping out all of the background, but they are still too big. I have also tried using a lower mega pixel setting to no avail.

You can also go into "Microsoft Picture manager" and then click on "edit photo" and then "compress" or "resize".

My computer has something called Image Expert already installed on it and I can resize using it.

I also have a photobucket account, which automatically resizes your pictures when you upload them. It makes them the perfect size for posting here.

Hehe. ive had the same problem. now i just email them to myself off the computer. they automatically resize themselves or you get the option of choosing a size, then i save them as downloads and attach them to my forum 'entry'. not the quickest way i guess but certainly simple.

I like this program it is free and easy to use and allows you to easily change image formats and use pictures from various programs that have different file extentions and convert them into jpeg imageshttp://www.irfanview.net/

Once I open a picture from one of my files I click on the box that says Image and from the dropdown menu select resize, for there I can choose to resize by pixel size, by cm, inches or by percent of the original picture, you can also use for editing photos

I also ahve a photobucket account. Its the easiest to use and they have new software called Flock that lets you upload large amounts of files in batches... You can also send the photobucket link to your friends and familly to easily share your pictures without jamming up their email.
