She's really loved laying on the bookshelf with the garland. LOL, I wonder if she'll still feel the same way about the bookshelf when the decorations come down.

I took so many of her too. I had to take advantage that she was allowing me to take some nice pictures of her.

Yes, I noticed that. I always get it even though the camera has the "red eye" feature enabled.

Turning off the flash really helped. The last two I took with my cell phone. I love those Christmas lights anyway, they give off a surprising amount of light. That's mainly what I have my place lit up with.

She looks so pretty among all the decorations, AG. I think you'll have to leave them up all year round, just for Oksana!

I might figure something out with lights minus the garland. She seems to like laying up there, and I do like the extra light.

Those are really neat pictures of her on the bookshelf

She certainly seems comfy.

The first year I had the fireplace mantle I put a string of white lights in the back against the wall with some garland. I, too, like the light so I leave them there all year. Because the seats are below the mantle you can't see the string of lights but enjoy the effect. Perhaps you could try something similar

Thanks, these are becoming some of my favorite pictures of her.

I'm going to see if I can make a little area for her to sit on. I want to keep the lights up, so I'll fiure out how to keep them there, but I also have stuff I want to have up there. Maybe I'll stack books up there and put the regular decorative stuff in the shelves.

You could use the second one Oksana for Hallowe'en ~ spooky kitty. Great pix ! Course it's tough to take bad pix when they're that good looking.
