Question Discolored Fur

Today on my 11 yr old Weimaraner I noticed a patch of discolored fur near her hind leg down towards her belly. Normally Boo is grey/silver but this patch of fur was brown almost blonde and there was a little mushy lump underneath it. Should I be worried about this?[/I]

Welcome to the board Weimy1206.

A vet visit would be in order for your dog, given her age and the fact that there is a mushy lump there. As long as it's not growing from day to day, you don't need an appt tomorrow, but next week would be good. If you see obvious changes from day to day, though, it would be a good idea to get her in this weekend if possible.

I hope it turns out to be nothing!

Let us know how the vet visit goes!

And if you have some pics to post of your girl, we sure wouldn't complain if you posted some.

Took me a minute to realize they're in your profile album!

She sure is a beauty!!! Looks like a real character, too! Lovely smile!

How is her spot?

Welcome to our Forum,Weimy!!
Hazel is right, any lumps or bumps need to be seen by a vet.

Bo certainly seems like a character,he's beautiful
Hopefully the lump is nothing serious

well her father says that this spot has been there for awhile (how I never noticed, I dont know) but that he has had it checked and as long as it doesn't begin to grow or anything it's fine. So that's good
