If you have cats with scabs.

I have 3 cats all had scabs on their necks. Please consider this . Vet suggested that they had flea allergies. I took it upon myself to go and do the frontline flea wstuff on all the cats and two dogs at the same time on the same day of the month. My idea was that the fleas where comming ll at once.

I suggest that I was and am wrong. I have just started trimming the cats nails. they can no longer scratcht themselfs and umm there is no more scabs on them.

So to all that say that they do not need to trim the cats hind legs, I say that you are wrong!

Could be both. Did you find any fleas? Apparently one bite is all it takes to trigger an allergy, although three cats at once seems unlikely.
Are their coats very dry? Maybe their food is the culprit, have you thought of that?
